"Tiny Diamond" a brand new track to come out very soon. This song is dedicated to my very close friend Jenn. If you would like to read the story behind this beautiful, new melodic song, i have it included in this blog below, be careful it’s an interesting one!

Basically life has many lessons for us to learn. This one is a very valuable lesson for all of us, I believe it came from Jenn's grandmother where ever she may be now, a lesson of how we can get so caught up in our own lives, how we can forget the value behind just "letting something go", or having something and then its suddenly forced to freedom from our very own hands. I think life, wether it is god, the universe or just reality, tests us. I do believe…as I have written in some of my other lyrics for the new song "Alive" also to be released this year 2014, "they try to break us down to dust, I believe the best of us survive". That this is the case in life for us to face. I don’t think that means some are better than others, we are all the same. We choose how to take life, deal with life, and move on or not. It is a constant battle for all of us, and not to compare to others on how bad ones life might be but, how great it is to just be here. This song can be interpreted many different ways. I know when the event happened I was very upset, but maybe it was meant to be that way. To bring us closer together as friends, to have something else takes its place weather it was this song, or another diamond. The lesson I personally took from this event was simply that I have all these beautiful elements to my life… my family, my friends, the air I breathe, my freedom, animals, nature, food, my vocal chords, my love for others, my health etc and when we have something great, we have to remember we don’t possess anything here on this planet, we don’t actually own anything, we are here as a gift, we are here to enjoy the gifts, but they are not ours to TAKE away when we leave, therefore this is a firm reality that we own nothing here. So when we do have things like diamonds, family, friends, lovers, homes, food, air, we take care of them, enjoy and share them and never take anything for granted, because when it’s time to just "let it go" you will do so gracefully. I also realize the perseverance behind trying to find my dear friend Jenn's diamond, is a true push for my dedication to help her be happy again. It was unconditional, I know I will never give up on who or what I love. Dreams do come true; you can find the diamond at the bottom of the pool. I love you Jenn, please have a read below on the story behind the song.

The Tiny Diamond Story.

In May 2013 several ladies were at a stagette in Osoyous BC at a resort on the lake, weather was hot and it involved 7 girls having fun. On the 2nd last day of the event, girls were in a pool at the resort, music was blasting, alcohol and water was the recipe of the afternoon. The main girl of the stagette (Jenn) was playing in the pool with Cindy, each taking turns dunking each other, play fighting in the public swimming pool, drinking/laughing and having fun. Jenn then accidentally smacked the back of her hand off the edge of the pool, knocking out the small diamond from her precious ring that her grandmother had given to her just prior to her passing that year… The sentimental value of that gem could not be explained in words, Jenn was extremely close to her grandmother and nothing meant more in that moment than the precious stone that had now become lost at the bottom of the pool, in extreme shock to what had just happened, the party was on hold immediately.. Cindy had been there from the moment it happened and realized that the emotional distress that Jenn was going through could not be ignored, and now the search was on for the precious stone in the pool at no cost… With clothes on, one of Jenn’s friends immediately jumped in the pool to assist along with her other friends and two sister. other participants jumped in to search for what seemed to be “the needle in the haystack” Emotions were high but determination was evident, this was no joking matter for Jenn’s sake, Cindy was pushing minutes under water, touching, feeling every little inch of the pool bottom looking for the missing stone, coming up only a few times for breath, the search must go on. Minutes later Jenn's sister started yelling and screaming for someone to come and help her as she may have something under her foot, she stood still in the water.. Cindy swam over to assist her, under her foot pressed against the bottom of the pool she insisted that she may have something, Cindy swims down 5ft to lift her foot and help recover what she may have, as she feels for it in limited visibility, something is jammed in her fingernail, Cindy starts to surface, once there they both realize IT’S THE DIAMOND!!!! A celebration ensues with tears of joy and laughter; there is no hero of the day, only cheers of happiness amongst the girls as they conquered the impossible until a celebratory body-check from Lisa onto Cindy Lou sends the diamond flying through the air, back into the pool! Panic erupts and emotions directly turn from celebration to sheer distress!! The  diamond is again lost.. A frantic search is on, minutes pass, then an hour, finally someone is begging Cindy to leave the pool as time had passed further into a minute chance of hope to find the precious gem... Jenn is again extremely distraught... tears are now falling,  Cindy is relentless but comes up short in the final push…. Eventually everyone is out of the pool… defeated… they provide comfort for Jenn, it is now a time for healing… Tiny Diamond is gone forever.
